Dr. Barry L Kramer is a cardiologist at the Orlando Heart and Vascular Center. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, and he also specializes in interventional cardiology.
He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and he obtained his medical degree at Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the VA Northern California Health Care System. He also completed a fellowship in cardiology as well as a research fellowship at the Cardiovascular Research Institute at the University of California.
Dr. Kramer has been practicing cardiovascular medicine for 44 years. He has also provided supervision and teaching to medical and surgical residents in emergency medicine. He is well-versed in procedures such as cardiac catheterization, pacemaker implantation, non-cardiac angiography and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, among others.
Furthermore, his research interests in angioplasty, coronary ultrasound imaging and catheterization, atherectomy, and stent placement have led to numerous medical advances over the years. Dr. Kramer enjoys helping his patients by striving to improve their quality of life, and in addition to English, he is fluent in Telugu and Spanish.
